Whether it’s helping set up a new smartwatch or assisting in navigating YouTube, the Google Disability Support team has helped blind and low-vision Be My Eyes users in 13 selected countries with questions about assistive tools or accessibility features within Google’s products since March. Today, we’re opening it up to everyone!

If you’re a Be My Eyes user in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, India, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States, you already know how great it is to chat with the Accessibility experts from the Google Disability Support team. Now, Google is expanding its service on Be My Eyes’ Specialized Help to offer video customer support to our users no matter where they are.

All you have to do to get in touch with an expert from the Google Disability Support team is to select Google from the Specialized Help menu in the Be My Eyes app. From Google’s profile, you can learn more about their services, check out their opening hours in your local time zone, and of course make a Be My Eyes call directly to the Disability Support team. Please note that Google’s services on Be My Eyes are only available in English, Google agents are not able to give support in other languages.

At Be My Eyes, we’re beyond excited in partnering with Google to bring accessible customer support to blind and low-vision users worldwide! If there are any other companies or organizations you’d like to see on the Specialized Help platform, please fill out the submission form, and we’ll do our best to get them onboard.
