“Love is Sharing a Meal” Contest Rules and Participation Agreement

 

  1. Eligibility:
  • The contest is open to all Be My Eyes blind and low-vision users residing in the US
  • No entry fees are required to participate.
  • Employees and consultants of Be My Eyes, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
  1. Submission Guidelines:
  • Share your favorite pasta recipe, as often as you want!
  • Submissions must be in English.
  • All submissions must be made electronically through the official “Love is Sharing a Meal” participation form.
  • The deadline for submissions is Feb 19, 2026 at 11:59 pm PST.
  1. Originality and Permissions:
  • All writings must be your original work.
  • By entering the contest, you grant Accessibly Inc., dba Be My Eyes, a non-exclusive, royalty- free, world-wide license and right to copyright, publish, display, reproduce, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, digitize, otherwise use and permit others to use, your submission, and, if you are our winner, your name and country of residence, in any manner, form, or format whatsoever now or hereinafter created, including on the Internet, and for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising or promotion of Be My Eyes, its affiliates, or their services, without further consent from or payment to you.
  1. Judging:
  • Submissions will be judged by Be My Eyes.
  • The decision of the judges is final and binding.
  1. Notification and Prize:
  • One winner will be selected.
  • The winner will be notified via email within 7 days after the closing date.
  • The winners will receive: two boxes of limited edition pasta (Barilla ‘Snowfall’ and Barilla ‘Love’), a Barilla-branded tote bag, and a wooden pasta server.
  • The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available.
  1. General Conditions:
  • Be My Eyes reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time, for any reason, in its sole discretion.
  • By participating, contestants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges and Be My Eyes.
  • Other than as described in these contest rules, personal data received during the course of the contest will be used as described in our Privacy Policy.
  1. Liability and Law:
  • The sponsor is Accessibly Inc., dba Be My Eyes (“Be My Eyes”), located at 2345 Yale street, Palo Alto, 94306-1449. Be My Eyes will conduct substantially as described in these Swttpstakes Rules and Participation Agreement.
  • Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Barilla, Meta, Facebook and/or Instagram.
  • Be My Eyes is not responsible for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any contestant entering the contest or because of accepting or not winning any prize.
  • The contest and these rules will be governed by the law of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to any conflicts of law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of San Mateo County, California, USA, and you irrevocably agree to and submit to the venue and jurisdiction of those courts.
