The Amtrak service on Be My Eyes Service Directory is now available at 50 Amtrak stations across the United States, including major hubs such as <strong>Chicago Union Station, Los Angeles Union Station, Denver Union Station, New York\u2019s Moynihan Train Hall, and Washington DC Union Station.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in August, the pilot program brought Be My Eyes\u2019 live visual assistance to 17 of Amtrak\u2019s busiest stations in the Northeast Corridor. The response was clear: passengers used the service to travel with greater confidence and independence, and Amtrak saw first-hand how real-time visual support could reduce stress and remove barriers in complex, fast-moving environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That success has now paved the way for nationwide growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-from-pilot-to-nationwide-impact\"><br>From pilot to nationwide impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Train stations can be overwhelming for anyone, and even more so for blind and low vision travelers. Constant announcements, last-minute track changes, crowded platforms, and sprawling layouts can quickly turn a journey into a challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Service Directory on the Be My Eyes app, passengers can connect instantly with trained visual agents at Amtrak who provide real-time assistance via secure video.
