In July 2024, Zain became the first company in the Middle East region to partner with <\/span>Be My Eyes<\/b>, a global app that connects people who are blind or have low vision with volunteers and companies worldwide through live video and artificial intelligence. <\/span>In this partnership, Zain employees volunteer during dedicated Volunteering Events as part of Be My Eyes\u2019 Corporate Volunteering Plan, offering real-time assistance with everyday tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n

This vision is championed by <\/span>Mr. Bader Al-Kharafi<\/b>, Zain\u2019s Vice Chairman and Group CEO, whose leadership ensures that no one is left behind. <\/span>The Be My Eyes partnership supports two pillars of Zain\u2019s \u201c4WARD\u201d corporate strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

From the start, this initiative was a full-scale rollout across all Zain markets – Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Sudan, South Sudan, and Oman – bringing accessibility support to users across the Middle East. Zainers were encouraged to volunteer in their preferred language, strengthening Arabic and English support on the platform.<\/p>\n

Eight training sessions prepared employees to provide effective, real-time assistance. To broaden awareness, Zain launched a social media campaign to its 50+ million followers, highlighting the importance of accessibility and inclusive technology.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
