We have great news for Verizon customers! You can now connect directly with Verizon through Be My Eyes to get your questions about accessibility features for Verizon products and services answered. As one of the leading telecom providers in the US, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Verizon to help you get the most out of your phone plan and all the accessibility features.

Verizon has markedly become one of the companies leading the growing movement to make services more accessible to those who live with disabilities. By joining the Valuable 500 and making the pledge to provide a more accessible experience, Verizon is leading the way in North American telecommunications in terms of accessibility. Thanks to their support, Be My Eyes users can enjoy using the app for no additional cost while having access to support from experts in the Telecommunications industry.

At a time when many struggle with the impact of COVID-19, remote support has become more and more vital for businesses to maintain their services. To have a remote support option that is accessible for customers with vision challenges is especially important in a time of lockdowns and social distancing as many individuals are cut off from their normal support network and rely heavily on devices, such as their phone to keep in touch with their loved ones, do their work, and order services.

The Verizon service is already available through the Be My Eyes app - just enter the Specialized Help menu in the Be My Eyes app, locate Verizon in the Technical category and give them a call. To start, the Verizon Accessibility Support team is available to answer your Be My Eyes calls Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 PM to 7 PM ET.

Are you not a Verizon client? Please let us know what other mobile service providers you would like to see on Be My Eyes. Verizon might be the first telecom provider on Be My Eyes, but we sure hope they won’t be the last! For more information about Verizon services, please visit the Verizon website.
