For more than 34 million adults and children living in the United States—and for many of the nearly 420 million individuals dealing with Diabetes globally—living the healthiest life possible means daily Diabetes management. For members of the blind and low-vision community, even the simplest aspects of daily life with Diabetes can feel impossible without the right resources and support.

Together with our partners Prodigy Diabetes Care and Accessible Pharmacy Services for the Blind, we’re hosting a webinar dedicated to accessible solutions and devices in diabetes care and management. The webinar Talking Glucose Meters for Blind and Low Vision Diabetics will feature speakers from both Accessible Pharmacy and Prodigy Diabetes Care, and will be hosted by our VP of Community, Will Butler.

During this 1-hour event, we’ll be discussing the realities of diabetes management for those in the blind and low-vision community as well as the key resources and devices (including talking glucose meters and specialized syringes) that can help improve daily diabetes management.

The webinar will take place on Friday February 12, 12 pm EST/9 am PST and will last for one hour. The online event is free to attend, but you’ll need to register. All attendees can get a free talking glucose meter. Be My Eyes, Accessible Pharmacy and Prodigy Diabetes Care are looking forward to meeting you there!
