Every day should feel like a good hair day – and with the newest addition to the Be My Eyes app, we’re making that a little easier.

We want to give a warm welcome to Pantene, which is joining forces with Be My Eyes to give consumers with visual needs advice on everything from selecting the right product for their hair type, ingredients and general haircare.

Providing accessible support to consumers with a vision impairment is a step forward for inclusion, and Pantene is no stranger to inclusivity - it is one of the main pillars of their brand. Being a 2019 Pride sponsor as well as the company behind the S.H.E (Search Human Equalizer) browser extension, inclusion and diversity runs through the very DNA of Pantene.

With so many prior initiatives for inclusion, offering video support for blind and low-vision consumers through Be My Eyes was therefore a natural step. The Pantene team can supply you with all the information you need to take great care of your hair; from selecting the right products for your hair type, to information about ingredients and general hair care advice.

Getting connected to a haircare expert from the Pantene team is quite simple. Just enter the Specialized Help menu from the homepage in the Be My Eyes app, select Pantene from the list of companies, and call them from their profile. The Pantene team is ready to take your call Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm EST. The service is available in English and can only be accessed from the United States.

Knowledge is beauty – and everyone has the right to know the printed information on their beauty products. We hope that the Pantene team can make sure blind and low-vision individuals get the most out of their haircare routine!

If you have other requests for companies or institutions to become a part of Specialized Help, please fill out our Specialized Help submission form, and we’ll do our best to include them on the platform.
