Danielle Lane

Danielle Montour Lane is a blind accessibility professional and Community Manager at Be My Eyes.

She brings over a decade of experience working with accessibility standards, including WCAG, along with a hands-on background in Braille literacy, assistive technology, and STEM education. She has spent years working directly with blind people on everyday skills—from reading Braille to cooking—often in grassroots environments where formal training systems are limited.

At Be My Eyes, Danielle focuses on making the platform easy to use, approachable, and useful in everyday life. She is particularly focused on helping more people feel comfortable getting started, especially those who may not think of themselves as strong access tech users.
